Embracing detours website5/16/2023 ![]() ![]() For now I’m kinda digging this loving on me thing!) ![]() X Have a partner in my life that I adore and respect and adores and respects me (I know that X will change to a check mark again one day, for now I get to adore and love on myself! I’m VERY aware I don’t NEED a partner and not everyone desires that, however, we as humans typically seek companionship…and for me, I do hope for that again one day. Travel A LOT and trying new things like a bad ass! (I have traveled so much these past three years to new places and have tried so many new things –like surfing- and I will continue to do so.).Have a job that I love (although being an entrepreneur is hard as shit, I still love it!).Have a partner in my life that I adore and respect and adores and respects me. ![]() Some of them got checked off, while others…not so much.īut here I was, post divorce, making another list of things and putting a BY X DATE on them, that being 42 this time (if you recall from previous blogs, I’m a bit impatient). The list I made previously was when I was graduating High School, things to accomplish before 30. Last year I wrote a blog “ When Life Doesn’t Go As Planned”.Little did I know a year later I would be pulling up that blog to read it because once again, I had planned some things for my life that decided to not work out the way I expected, and I think many people this past year can probably relate. “Often what may appear as a detour in life is actually the most direct and empowering path to your destination.” ![]()
