She has embraced Countryside’s Fear free philosophy and makes sure each patient that she encounters has a stress free experience. Her special interests are dealing with feline patients, especially those with catitudes. Marie’s hobbies consist of napping, painting, drawing, and enjoying adventures at Disney. She also lives with Gabby the lab, Yoko the shorkie, Noodles the daschund, Yoyo the tabby, Meow Meow and Shadow the calicos, Chester the domestic long hair, and Smokie and Miss B (foster fails) the black kitties. She lives with her mother, father, and sister. Marie was born and raised in Citrus County. She is also a floor supervisor and takes pride in providing excellent customer service. She has a vast knowledge in veterinary medicine and excellent technical skills. She hasĪn American bully named Grizzly, a cat named Chandler, and a special needsĬockatiel named Grandpa. Samantha enjoys spending time with her family and pets. Her and her husband Orlando, welcomed their first child, Nathan, at the end of Samantha had married her middle school sweetheart February 2015. She respected every position and humbly assisted any way she could. Starting as a kennel technician, Samantha took on any new responsibility with stride. Her passion for animals led her to the doors of Countryside Animal Clinic in Fall 2012. She obtained her Associate’s degree in Animal Science at College of Central Florida. She grew up on a farm and loved helping animals. Her father wanted to raise his family in the country, so they decided to move to Citrus County. Samantha was born in North Miami, Florida. It is a truly unique and talented group of people who work well together as a team, who enjoy what they do, and who derive their greatest satisfaction from helping their clients' pets live long and happy lives! Read more ![]() Dunn and Diana are most proud of and grateful for the exceptional team they have at Countryside. ![]() He has a multitude of fond clinic memories, but some of his favorites are helping animals with unusual problems, like the cow that was shot by a bow and arrow, retrieving a needle from a cat’s stomach non-surgically, reversing a cat in renal failure, helping a dog hit by lightning and treating a traveling circus elephant for pneumonia.ĭr. ![]() Dunn’s hobbies include fishing, reading, exercising, spending time with the family, and “spoiling” his granddaughters. They have 2 dogs, Caesar (a yellow lab) and Cleo (a short-haired black & tan dachshund), two cats (Chester and Moe), and Merlin, a South American Redfoot tortoise.ĭr. Dunn and Diana have three adult children who grew up with the clinic, as well as two granddaughters. The practice grew from its original 1,000 square foot leasehold to the current 4,000 square foot building 10 years later.ĭr. Dunn and his wife Diana started Countryside Animal Clinic in 1984 in the old Beverly Hills shopping plaza. Following graduation, he worked in a mixed animal practice in Monroe, NC before returning to Florida to work in a mixed animal practice in Belleview, FL. He graduated from Florida State University with a BS in Biology in 1977, and received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida in 1981.
